May is one of my favorite months because it signifies the transition from Spring to Summer. Everything is almost fully in bloom as the April showers have brought May flowers. The month kickstarts with the MET Gala held annually in order to benefit The Costume Institute. It is an event known for the jaw-dropping looks that celebrities such as Blake Lively and Beyonce sport in celebration of the theme. If weather permitting, Hunt Country has its very own Met Gala in the Gold Cup Races held at Great Meadows in The Plains. May ends with Memorial Day which both honors those who served in the armed forces and marks the beginning of Summer break.
For me, this May is the beginning of graduation season where I am anxiously awaiting all the fun traditions the seniors get to participate in. Here are some of my favorite pieces I will be wearing this month!
